Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists is a member organization (NGO) for journalists and has since the beginning in 1986 gained an increasingly prominent role as an environmental promoter and information channel in Nepal. There are no environmental organizations in Nepal as we know them in the west. The job NEFEJ does in Nepal is therefore of invaluable significance. NEFEJ fights for nature, development as well as democratization in Nepal.
